DMCA Compliance
Effective Date: March 13, 2026
CougarMommy respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. We operate solely as an information intermediary and metadata indexing service. This DMCA Policy explains how we handle copyright infringement claims.
1. No Content Hosting
CougarMommy does not store, host, upload, or transmit any video files, media, or copyrighted material on its servers.
All video content is embedded directly from third-party streaming providers. We only provide metadata (titles, descriptions, performer names, and thumbnails) and links to content that is already publicly available on the internet.
Because we do not host any files, we cannot remove videos from external sources. The fastest way to have a video taken down is to contact the third-party host directly.
2. DMCA Compliance
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA takedown notice, we will promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing metadata and links on our site.
3. Submitting a Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright owner (or an authorized agent) and believe that material indexed on CougarMommy infringes your copyright, please submit a written DMCA notice that includes all of the following:
4. Where to Send DMCA Notices
Please send all DMCA notifications to: Email: dmca@cougarmommy.me
Alternatively, you may use our Contact Form on the website (select “DMCA / Copyright” in the subject field).
Important Note: Because we only index content, contacting the actual third-party video host is often the most effective and fastest solution. Once the video file is removed by the host, the embed on our site will stop working automatically.
5. Counter-Notification
If you believe material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. The counter-notice must include:
- Identification of the material that was removed and its original location on our site.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or the judicial district where CougarMommy is located), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we may restore the material within 10–14 business days unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a lawsuit.
6. Repeat Infringer Policy
CougarMommy reserves the right to terminate access (in appropriate circumstances) for users or submitters who are determined to be repeat infringers.
7. Misrepresentation
Any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing (or that material was removed by mistake) may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees, under Section 512(f) of the DMCA.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this DMCA Policy at any time. The “Effective Date” at the top will be revised accordingly. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
